Born and raised in the L.A. area and this is my very first credit. (And, considering I write novels and all my previous film work is for private distribution only due to copyright issues, probably my very last! :) This is a great idea, and great fun to be a part of.

Perfect Moment
One second... oh, you know I'll think of the perfect one the minute I send this. But I'm going to have to go for my spectacular bike accident in high school. Heading home on my ten-speed, standing on the pedals for more power,
as always, my left foot slipped, jammed through the front wheel, and caused me, the bike and my books (in the basket in back) to flip over in the middle of a crowded intersection. I ended up stuck to my bike, facing the opposite direction, and blocking no less than four lanes of traffic all by my lonesome. The nice guys at the service station on that corner finally had to cut three spokes out just to get my foot free, and then one of them even drove me home. I limped for 6 months but somehow managed not to break anything. I've always wanted an instant replay of that moment, just because I could never figure out the logistics of how I did that to myself without having me and the bike flipping end-over-end in mid-air. As much of a pain as it was at the time, twenty years later it'd probably make a pretty cool 1-second film.
