Currently I work and go to school in central Jersey. At Rider University I study Psychology, English, and Film.
I plan on working at the Trenton Film Festival this coming year and hopefully that will put my foot in the door for other exciting opportunities. I cannot say anything really incredible has ever happened to me as of yet except for my previous six months which were spent in London. I always try to keep a positive outlook on life and have fun and a blast with what little of it I actually have. My girlfriend Shavon and I spent January to June '07 abroad and it was the single greatest experience of my life. It really made me wake up and realize what else is out there. It also made me take notice that if I put my best foot forward I can accomplish anything in this exciting world.
I just had an exciting time and have another coming with school just around the corner.
I'm also looking for a job, haha. So if anyone would like to hire me I'll work for you, but nothing illegal!
Why I'm producing The 1 Second Film:
This film is the perfect opportunity to show the world how the media can effect the world in a positive manner. The industry has also lost it's creative edge within the past five years and has stuck to the same tired formulas, sequels, adaptations, and remakes. We now have the ability to help change the industry and the world. Life is such a short thing. Imagine your time on this planet as a foot long ruler; each integer is an important moment in your life, like marriage. In between these integers are an infinite number of fractions and decimals, these are our seconds of life. We have an infinite amount of these seconds and we should live each one with enough fun and excitement that any of them could be turned into a 1 Second Film. I am happy to take a couple of second of my life and devote them to other people. Perhaps this film could one day be an integer in someone's life.
Perfect Moment
The most recent moment in my life that could be turned into a 1 Second Film is the second I got to see my comic in the Rider Newspaper, which I was working on for weeks. The majority of people who read it did not even get the joke which I thought was an even better accomplishment. Another moment would be any of those seconds that I spent with my girlfriend the last time I saw her because during the summer we are so far apart (I'm in NJ while she is in CT).
I want have created at least one of these within the next 5 years. It will most likely be a movie.
