Our project has a non-traditional open-structure that employs micro-collaboration, as such, we have adopted the following policy regarding Intellectual Property, Creative Commons, and Copyright. This policy may change or get updated in the future. Changes to this policy will be effective 14 days after posting. Use of the1secondfilm.com's content: Excluding our 12 frames of animation (which are under traditional copyright protection), and unless noted below, all content on our site is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License. Content under this license may be used non-commercially in order to help create/promote The 1 Second Film, or to create other creative work. Share, mix, and create, as outlined by this license. Attribution should be given to the original source and linked to this site. 	Producer generated content Producers maintain ownership of their content, but grant THE 1 SECOND FILM and THE COLLABORATION FOUNDATION a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to (i) use, reproduce, publish, edit, translate, modify, adapt, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display the Content alone or as part of other works in any form, media, or technology whether now known or later developed, and to (ii) freely and fully sublicense such rights through single or multiple tiers of sublicensees. You also expressly acknowledge and agree that THE 1 SECOND FILM shall have the right to grant a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License ("CC License"), available at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/, for all Content posted on or through our Site, including Content you post on or through the1secondfilm.com, as well as all content mailed to us by you. 	Our Trademarked Logo ™ The 1 Second Film™ licenses the online use of its trademarked corporate logo (shown immediately to the left) on the condition that the trademark licensee use the mark to point to our homepage (http://the1secondfilm.com), and only to our homepage. The 1 Second Film logo may also be downloaded by our producers and shared non-commercially for the purpose of promoting The 1 Second Film. The 1 Second Film retains the unfettered right to revoke this trademark license for any reason whatsoever or for no specified reason. The 1 Second Film is likely to revoke said license if, in its full, unfettered, and sole discretion, it finds that licensee's use of the mark is likely to bring disrepute to licensor or its mark.
	DMCA Copyright Policy The 1 Second Film has adopted the following general policy regarding coprights in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Basically, please do not upload any content to our site unless you own all the copyrights involved or have received legal permission. The 1 Second Film will immediately remove or block access to material that we believe in good faith to be copyrighted material that has been illegally copied and distributed by any of our users.
