There are exciting things going on in Evangenital-land, and a LOT of them. This weekend is a Nexus of sorts, with 3 shows happening on one night - none of them Evangenitals shows - yet all of them Evangenital-related! Let me explain...
Evangenitals lead singer Juli Crockett (that's me!) has just landed a new gig singing the June Carter Cash parts in the greatest Johnny Cash tribute band ever - Cash'd Out. (http://www.myspace.com/cashdout) Evangenitals drummer George Bernardo has been drumming with them for the past year, and this Saturday night - April 19th at 11pm - I will having my debut performance with Cash'd Out at the "Belly Up" in Solana Beach, CA. If you happen to be in that part of town, I would LOVE to have some friendly faces in the crowd cheering me on!
Life is all about having he best time with your friends and family.
It's Valentine's Day. I'm married. I have been for 18 years. I love my wife. I'm not allowed to date, not even for 1 second! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
But I am also in love with Twitter. It's kind of an obsession. I'm not sure that Twitter loves me back, so I made a pretty picture for Twitter and sent it. It's my current avatar.
Scary, isn't it?

Wow.
Last night at about 3am I suddenly was inspired to go on a wild "tagging" mission on Flickr. Part of the inspiration came from my discovery of the new features on Blogger which allow you to add slide-shows and videos to your page, based off of keywords. So I jumped on Flickr and went keyword crazy... making sure that I had "The Evangenitals" and "Juli Crockett" on every awesome photo from the Road to Oprah tour that I could find.
I am very proud to announce that the independent feature film "The Sound of Victory" (that I happen to have a lead role in) will be world premiering in the New York International Film and Video Festival on March 3, 2008 at 1pm at the ImaginAsian Theatre 239 E. 59th St., New York, NY 10022. I ask that anyone and everyone that can make it, please come and check it out.

Greetings, fellow Producers!
For those of you with a hankering for some late-night love songs in
the rain... Evangina will be playing at Mr T's Bowl TONIGHT - Saturday
January 5th - with BILL, the Amadans, and Alanna Lin.
Music starts at 9pm with Alanna Lin and Evangina will be wrapping up
the evening with a midnight set.
Sarah Peters, who played bass & violin on the Evangenitals recent
Road to Oprah tour, will be joining Lisa Dee and Juli C for the making
of sweet music. We're going to pull out some old gems, new covers,
and some never before heard stuff, so it should be quite a sight to
stay up late for!

Happy Holidays!
Hope you are having a wonderful week full of cheer with your near and your dear.
I don't know how, but my improv team "Not From Chicago" won AGAIN last week, which means we will be defending our defending our hard-won Student Cagematch Champion Belt at the iO WEST's Andy Dick Theater in Hollywood TOMORROW NIGHT (Thursday) at 10pm.
As an added bonus, my dearest Patrick Ian Moore will be joining the team this week -- the first time we shall ever perform Improv together! -- as many of my teammates are home for the Holidays.
This year has been crazy busy for me in many aspects of my acting career. An actor friend of mine posted a list of his achievments for the year so I did the same and here they are for my 1secondfilm page.
One thing that wasn't catagorized in the list and something that I am most proud of is that I was an extra for The Dark Knight over the summer while filming took place in Chicago, IL. Well, I just saw the trailer and I'm totally in it! You can see a screen cap on my IMDB page or my official site. When you see it, look just behind the woman in white. It's pretty much one of the most exciting things that's ever happened and I'm that much more thrilled to see the film next Summer!
