before posting this video, i joined a really awesome (free) video publishing service called TubeMogul.com which allowed us to upload this video once and then distribute it to multiple video sharing sites like YouTube, blip.tv, myspae, yahoo, revver, etc. this is a HUGE timesaver, and motivated me to sign up to many different video sites that i haven't tried before. it will be interesting to experiment with web traffic.
Watched this TED Talk video last night. Really enjoyed it: Howard Reinghold discusses down the evolution of collective action, as new forms of working together encroach on competitive survival of the fittest models.
Juli came by the office today and created an account for us on DooGooder.tv, a new platform for non-profits that are using video and technology to reach out to supporters. DoGooder TV is currently featuring our intro video on their homepage, which is really awesome! Check it out on DoGooder.TV

Today on Twitter, I was playing "My Dilemma" with my Twitterbuds (trying to find producers for The 1 Second Film, of course.) I mentioned that Prince/Sheila E's "The Glamorous Life" and the Pussycat Dolls "Don't Cha" is/are essentially the same song. Then my friend @AlisonL tweeted "kinda like Ghostbusters, by Ray Parker Jr. and I Want a New Drug, by Huey Lewis & the News!"
Not exactly, I thought. It's actually more like the mash-up of "Stairway to Heaven" and the theme song to "Gilligan's Island" by Little Roger and the Goosebumps.

this weekend i finished putting together the first pass of functionality and features for the next version of our website. the next step is to budget the site and figure out how much it's going to cost to drupalize.
i'm gonna call it an early night. it's almost 2am, i've been pulling several late nighters this week- usually up til 4 or 5am. fueled by a stream of ideas that keep me up. i like this sort of stuff. it's a part of the process i really enjoy, where the idea gets refined and reveals new solutions to its own challenges.
