Biography

An accomplished musician and performer, Dean Meadows left the stage in 1999 fulfilling his creative ambitions as a critic and ultimately, an actor and filmmaker.

Dean penned articles for such publications as Impact - The Action Entertainment Magazine and Jade Screen - The Hong Kong Movie Magazine along with writing synopsis and sleeve notes for a number of high profile genre DVD releases. After creating, editing and publishing, Vengeance - The X-Treme Movie Magazine from 2003 - 2007, Dean co-founded Utopian Pictures alongside filmmaker, Peter Hallett. Having completed work on the initial development of a documentary bio-pic for US television, the highly anticipated martial arts Brit-flick, ‘Tough Justice’, is Dean’s first feature film as producer and co-star!

With 'Tough Justice' hitting post-production by the end of 2008, Dean Meadows and Utopian Pictures now have a number of exciting future projects currently in development!
