My name is Raj Jawa, I'm 22 years old living in Santa Clarita, California. I go to the community college, College of the Canyons, in town where I am about to receive an associates degree in Film/Video Production. After that, I'll have a few more classes to take care of before I transfer to a university to pursue similar studies. My ultimate goal is to get into the film industry in, at least, a capacity that is survivable for myself, and one day my family. I'd probably like to be the 'big and famous' director but if I can 'live' and enjoy what I do in film I'd be more than happy, I'd like to think.
In productions I kind of like to have my hand in everything (directing, shooting, editing, acting, etc.) so I do have some amateur/education related experience in a few of the main areas.
In many years of schooling, I looked hard for what I enjoyed but I never found it until I took a couple of film classes. Instantly I fell in love and knew I wanted to do something in film as my career and that's more or less where I am right now; working through school and getting prepared for the next step...which is what? I really don't know either but I'm hoping my professors, friends, etc. have some insight and can help me achieve my dreams.
Besides film, I also have a love of photography and I'm always taking shots while I'm out and about in the world.

Why I'm producing The 1 Second Film:
Why not produce this film? I'm always looking to turn money over to any cause that comes my way. But seriously, The 1 Second Film just sounded like an interesting project and I wanted to contribute and do anything else I can to help.
Perfect Moment
My perfect moment that I'd like to turn into a one second film is the moment following the successful release of a future length film I directed. Of course, that 'moment' presumes a lot about my future...we'll see how close I get.
