Biography

After years of working on many Chicago-based independent and studio-produced films, Nathan Adloff takes his seat in the director's chair for "Untied Strangers." Following his arrival to Chicago in 2003, Adloff co-wrote his first screenplay "Backflip" with Charles A. Ross and worked on Bruce Terris' "Dirty Work," "The Trouble With Dee Dee," "5-25-77," "Stranger Than Fiction," "Quebec," last year's Sundance honoree "Grace Is Gone" and the locally-shot short film "The Art Of Stalking." Aside from his love of filmmaking, Adloff also possesses a passion for bringing quality independent films to audiences who love them, working as Art Director for the 40th Annual Chicago Film Festival and volunteering at the Provincetown International Film Festival and the past four years for Sundance.
