Dana was born in Rahway, New Jersey and moved to South Florida during her High School years with her Mother who was pursuing a singing career at the time.
An entertainer at heart, Dana actively began following her dream for acting in 1999 after a two month stint as a “featured” extra on Any Given Sunday starring Al Pacino and Jamie Foxx. From there she signed with several Florida agents and booked various jobs including: several local and regional commercials, music videos and Independent films.
She permanently moved to Los Angeles in January 2006 and now considers herself an official working actress! In July of 2007 you can catch her in the pilot episode of a new BET show called “Hell Date”. Later in the year watch out for her as a regular on the controversial new reality show, “Suge Knight’s Unfinished Business”, where she worked side by side with one of the music industry’s most feared CEOs’ . Dana has also been blessed to be a part of LA’s longest running, continuous play, “Diary of a Catholic School Dropout”, where she portrays and abused and confused, suicidal teenage girl for a seven-week run and she just recently booked a lead role in another play, "SUNSET LOUNGE".
She became involved in "The 1 Second Film", by chance on a visit to LA a few years ago. She and best friend Vernell Roberts were shopping on Hollywood Blvd and was approached by Nirvan and crew. It took only a few seconds for them to whip out their dollars, but after hearing about Sabrina Taylor and how she bodly proclaimed that no woman of color would outbid her, they pulled out the checkbook and the bidding war began!!
Dana is still waiting on that big break that will introduce her to the world, but until then this talented young lady will keep knocking on Hollywood’s door!!
-Dana is currently in search of a theatrical agent who believes in her and is willing to assist her in getting to that next level.
