I was born in East London, United Kingdom. I bought my first video camera when I was 15 years old and at 18 years old, invested in a professional High Definition editing suite and an HD Video camera to keep up with the technical advances of the film industry. I have an artistic, creative eye which shows in drawings, paintings and films that I produce. I have made a number of short films for college and professionally. I have training in the main areas of filmmaking: Direction, Cinematography, Camera Operating, Production Design, Editing and Producing. My passion for films and filmmaking alike increases every second.
I have a keen interest in the arts. I am currently in my first year at one of the top film schools in the United Kingdom; Bournemouth Screen Academy, studying Film Production for three years (Oct 2006-2009). I first received mentorship in the film industry on a long-term basis in 2004/2005 from the Australian film-maker, writer and comedian Brian Hurley. Have met British television director / producer Derek Wax (Sex Traffic, Tsunami) briefly for a casual chat on film-making. Just some of my favourite films are: Fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain, Le (2001), Lost In Translation (2003), Casablanca (1942), Huitieme Jour, Le (1996), Mr Hollands Opus (1995), Heat (1995), Layer Cake (2004), Where Eagles Dare (1968), Black Hawk Down (2001), Saving Private Ryan (1998), Italiensk for begyndere (2000), The Worlds Fastest Indian (2005). My favourite actor is Robert DeNiro. Written various reviews and articles on films and filmmaking. I have been experimenting and producing films on Digital Video (MiniDV and DVCAM), HD and 16mm film and have recently worked on the 'Apple 24 Hour' and the 'BAFTA 60 second' film projects at my film school. I come from a very creative background and most of my family are in the art, technical or film industries. I'm keen to gain more experience in the Production Design and Art Direction departments.

Why I'm producing The 1 Second Film:
Someone close to me once said:
Film is the pinnacle form that humanity has of telling our stories. They are the stories of our past, our present and our futures. Stories about us, about them, and all the people in between. It is the ultimate writing pad for us to put down our thoughts.
