Claudio Sad was born in San Miguel de Tucuman, Tucuman, Argentina to a Spaniard/Argentine Mother and an Arabic/Argentine Father and moved with his family to Miami, Florida in 1980. Never liking school as a youth, he found himself skipping classes more often while staying home and watching movies on HBO all day long. Somehow, he still managed to attend his drama class only to go back home for the remainder of the day. It wasn't long before he finally dropped out of school and began working in restaurants at the age of 15 so he and his family could move from a poverty-stricken neighborhood and into a better life. Years later he attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and studied the technical end of music and video business but decided to quit and go to film school instead. After some aimless wandering, he began acting professionally and has been doing so ever since. One of his very first paying jobs was as an extra in both 1996 hits The Birdcage and Striptease (film) something he still considers a great success when compared to the high school plays he used to write and assemble to.
