The CalArts program in Character Animation is designed for students who seek an understanding of the art of acting animation. It provides comprehensive technical training and helps each student to develop as a fully fledged animation artist. To best instruct, guide and mentor students, the program features a faculty of experienced professionals who work at the forefront of both traditional and independent animation.
Why I'm producing The 1 Second Film:
The Character Animation program donated $500 to help fund the March 8th, 2001 animation event during which CalArts students collaborated to paint the 12 frames of animation.
