Jon Gries is an American actor best known for his roles in Napoleon Dynamite (Uncle Rico) and Real Genius (Laslow!), and was the first official 'celebrity' to Produce The 1 Second Film. The director of The 1 Second Film ran into Mr. Gries at a bar during the Sonoma Valley Film Festival, and pitched him the project. Jon donated $10, but later claimed he thought the director needed money for a sandwich.
