Biography

Pomegranates are good. I've always enjoyed them. My favorite fruit. They are becoming quite popular lately. I am a trend setter.

I work at FotoKem, where I have had the opportunity to work with some of my favorite directors: David Lynch, Vincent Gallo, John Landis, John Carpenter, Stephen Soderbergh, and of course, Nirvan Mullick. I helped Nirvan with some digital finishing on two of his stop motion animations, "The Box Man" and "The Three of Us".

My Favorite Day is Wednesday because it's the hardest one to spell.

I think network news is a scourge.

I'm actually on Oahu for today and tomorrow and will be back home to Maui tomorrow night...nice...life just SUCKS HARD ONES..."NOT" - (Borat Inspired, putting the "NOT" back in the tree of life...)

Thanx for the note...I actually am in Wailea quite a bit for work...I do a lot of film work in the islands, but I live in Haiku...ahhhhh....Haiku...it's like a poem...

I also have worked the Maui Film Festival before, but I don't know if Barry and Stella will ever have me back cuz I kinda pissed em off with a poem I performed at the MACC (Maui Arts and Cultural Center for those that don't know). Ahhhh...Good Times...

Do you guys have a "clean" version of the flier? I mean one without anyone on it...or do I have to make that myself?

Awesome JOB!!!...by the way...love what you've done with the place...

...the world's getting smaller in a big way...i'm just happy to be part of it...

thanks for the post and add. yeah the kitty hawk (aka shitty hawk) is definitely a vintage piece in the usn. still doing her job but being held together by paperclips and gum. i guess the entire social-networking/awareness idea behind this project is legit. look forward to hearing/seeing more.

OPRAH's BIG GIVE

I just heard of "Oprah's Big Give" show about what people would do to help others if they were given bundles of money. Since she's doing this for others, I really do hope she considers your project as more than a "big give". At any rate, I believe that the 1second film will definitely benefit from reaching out to Oprah...GOOD LUCK and cheers to a safe journey while you're on the road....

hey mike, this is the name of that site i was trying to remember: indiegogo.com

they have set up a platform to connect filmmakers with donations- one of the directions this project could have gone, but altogether different from the Collaboration Foundation. indiegogo a cool idea, and i think they have done a great job building the platform, but ultimately i think the majority of projects will not fulfill their funding goals. still, it seems to be helping some projects, so that's pretty awesome.
