Emily Hubley is an independent animator well known for her work on Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Emily was in the first class of Annenberg Film Fellows named by the Sundance Institute. Hubley has directed dozens of independent films over the past 20 years, and often collaborates with her sister Georgia's band, Yo La Tango. Her work has screened in festivals and museums around the world. A daughter of pioneer animators Faith and John Hubley, Emily was an associate producer at The Hubley Studio, Inc. and worked on Faith Hubley's films from 1977 to 2001.
