one perfect moment in my life is when me and my dads side of the family were all sitting around a camp fire over the summer. We all sit around talk and tell jokes. (and of course eat smores)

Perfect moment was standing in the middle of an empty parking lot at 4am realizing I could do anything I set my mind to.

The most perfect moment in my life was when I was 10. I was a military brat living in Norway and I discovered Gummi Candy, when I went on a walk with some friends to a corner market. it was getting dark, the street lamps turned on an we came out of the store with a pound of Gummi Candies. It was such a beautiful night and we walked all the way home with a smile on our faces, even though some of the Gummies were pretty sour -- but good. I've been addicted ever since. I'm still a child at heart.

The first time I held my son.

Well most of the perfect moments in my life have lasted longer than 1 second. Except for the most important moment. I always say you live life in inches. An inch here or an inch there you will have totally different results. The night i met my wife, we were standing in a crowded bar. I looked to my right just as she was looking to her left and we locked eyes. It was only for a second, but that second was all i needed to know that she was the one for me. I put my arms around her the next time she walked by and that was all she wrote. We were married a year later and are going to be making the great film of life together. Could you imagine if i would have looked to my right a second to late or to soon. We might have never seen each other and I have no idea where i would be today. ;-)

The second you get the feeling you want to dance, in any random fashion... Even if it sucks and not care who sees.

If I had to choose a perfect moment from my life to make into a 1 second film, I would choose the moment I put my feet into the Pacific Ocean for the first time. Mind-blowing. I felt like I was walking off the edge of the world.

The feeling you get right before you walk on stage to do a show.

Coming to America.

When I got my wings the first time I was ever on an airplane. I think the captain, or a male flight attendant, gave me a pin with wings on it, and he actually pinned it on my shirt. I felt super special - I was 4. I like flying. The moment the pin went through the fabric, that is what it would be.

My life is all akward moments. All I can say is it would be one second of silence, that seems like forever.

What an interesting question...it took me some time, but this is what I came up with: When I was maybe 9 or 10 years old, I went to 'Take your daughter to work day' with my dad, who was a satellite engineer at Lockheed Martin. I spent the day having a great time doing the activities and seeing the exhibits Lockheed had set up, but for some reason what I remember best was getting to eat lunch in the cafeteria with my dad. I had this Reese's ice cream novelty thing for dessert - peanut butter ice cream covered in chocolate and shaped like a peanut butter cup. My perfect moment was when I was sitting there with my dad in Lockheed Martin's cafeteria, and I took my first bite of that ice cream (which was delicious). I don't know why that memory is so vivid, but it's one of my very favorite memories of time spent with my dad (who died of pancreatic cancer in 2001, when I was 16 years old)

When i got a case of the giggles during my wedding ceremony

April 1989, San Francisco, 8 a.m., waiting at Sutter and Powell in freezing fog with my 3-year-old daughter for a cable car to take us over Nob Hill to her day care.

Back in Massachusetts a few years ago, I was riding down a country road on my motorcycle in early summer. The temperature was perfect, the sun was shining, the mosquitoes hadn't come out yet, and for just a second I didn't give a crap that I was in massive debt and was waiting tables for $2.63 an hour plus tips and had no idea what I was going to do with my life. That was a pretty sweet moment.

Probably just a lazy summer sunset with my family.
