This has gotten pretty bad reviews, I will admit... I am a fan of Terry Gilliam. I honestly loved this movie, maybe it's because I miss my childhood... though it was nothing like the little girls in the movie.
Maybe the movie made alot of critics uncomfortable with the situations and what not within the movie, but I notice alot of more artistic films like this don't do well. There were flaws with it, don't get me wrong and its a tough watch. It make's you think about things you generally dont think about, or heck... even WANT to think about. That deserves lots of points for getting my mind to work.
Has anyone seen this?

I love Terry Gilliam. I think Baron Munchhausen is highly underrated. This guy never seems to get the respect he deserves. I haven't seen tideland but I will be renting it. I hear the US dvd was not released in scope and he is telling people not to buy it.
haven't seen it yet. Time Bandits is a favorite. when i was a kid, i fell asleep watching it and dreamed a different ending. i did that with Ghandi too.
