Hey guys, thanks for joining our social media web team!

We're running some stress tests to our servers; the new site is still running a bit slow, so we're trying to figure that out before we open the gates wider. But as soon as we get up to speed, we will be looking to spread the word via sites like digg, reddit, twitter, stumbleupon, etc.

And we will need your help.

This is a month late, but I figured I'd ask did you setup Memcache on the server and enable it? Also make sure you have query caching turned on for MySQL Also I'd note that Amazon has a free tier plan for their Cloud Services, so depending on traffic the static crud[images, css, javascript] can be moved over to S3 to be served from there and speed up downloading.

Thanls for the feedback... We have installed Memcache a while back. We have donated hosting via Pair Networks, so unless we can find a comprable deal in the cloud, we're gonna stick with dedicated servers.
