Login and html issues?

All of the sudden I have to relogin in every time I leave the site and come back. I don't think I had to do this before.  Also, the html formatting seems to not be working, as evidenced in the producer blogs (and this post). I don't think I am doing anything differently.

well the login issue does

well the login issue does not seem to be happening on my work machine, so i'll check my settings on my other computer.

the filtered html default setting does not seem to have paragraph breaks, so if you format paragraphs (there are 3 paragraphs in this post) it just slams all the text together.

not sure if this is the same in the blogs but I think it is.

edit: well it seems to be working now. i wonder if my other machine has a weird setup or something? i'll double check that possibility.
