I'm always curious how folks stumble across this project. If you happen to stumble to this forum thread, please share your story. Thanks!
Well, I found out about it thru Justine "iJustine" Ezarik. When I saw that she and Brooke were involved along with a very impressive list of celebrities, I thought to myself, "Why not?" it's a great chance for me to get involved with a cool project and some cool people.

Cool. I can't help but think of the chain of events that led to the various people involved.
I was introduced to iJustine and Brooke by Evan White who found out about this project from Kyle McDonald, who stumbled on to this while on his One Red Paperclip quest via Tom Green's website. We met Tom at a party we snuck into during the Toronto Film Festival, and he wanted to outbid Andy Dick and Tom Arnold, who were both met randomly. They become two of our earliest celeb executives.
So this is sort of your backstory.
I was looking up some Wiki articles about "Mr. Show with Bob and David". Specifically, I was seeing what project David Cross and Bob Odenkirk were doing. I spotted Bob Odenkirk holding up the sign wondering, one, if I had seen that specific picture on that Wiki page before, and two, what the heck was he advertising? Knowing Bob, it could be anything.
So I keyed it in on Google, thought about it for a few moments and decided, "Why not? Let's do it".
that's so random! i've got some funny footage of Bob. He is such a cool guy. I met him through a friend at Sundance, and ended up staying on the couch at his condo. Bob also helped get me into the party where we met Stephen Colbert, which then helped us get on IMDb for a time; ended up being a pretty big moment for this project.
I learnt about the1second film through brookers/ijustine on youtube aswell captain.
First after watching brookers videos and seeing a random clip with Justine in it wondering who the heck she was i checked out her page, and then her onesecond video.
That's all, No freaky long chains of people or anything! :P
