If you would like to be a featured "Producer of the Moment" you need to do three things:
1. Upload a profile picture of you promoting The 1 Second Film
(download our flier or make your own and upload it to your producer profile- the funner your pic the better! Bonus points for video).
2. Fill in your profile bio.
3. Post a comment on this thread and we will review your pic and profile. If all is good, we will add you to our Producers of the Moment!
Please note: the POTM only features producers whose pics promote The 1 Second Film in some way. Also, please join The 1 Second Film Flickr Group and upload a high res duplicate of your promo pic so we can have a quality version for press and our documentary. Pics may also appear in a book once the project is complete that will raise additional funds for charity. By sending your pic, you grant The 1 Second Film a gratis right to use it in any way. When I logged on earlier Hunter was the Producer of the moment and so I had to print it out of course! When it printed the flash producer at that moment was SPIKE Jonez!!! Hunter sent in an audition tape to play Max in Where the Wild Things Are. Hunt didn't make it past the casting directors to Spike but we are still excited to see the project and looking for more great things from Spike! Maybe one day Hunt will get to work with him so Spike can teach him how to do a helicopter??? I don't know it is some skateboard thing.

Would you be interested in doing some on-the-street producer assignments for The 1 Second Film in Illinois? It would be great to get some on-the-street footage of Eon Warrior in character from Centralia. or maybe you have other ideas. now that this site is done, we can start having some fun with this.

I really like the quote you put on your pic, especially as I have watched the video you sent in. But this text would not show up very well in the POTM block on the home page.
Would it be possible for you to take a pic holding our flier (or one you make) and uploading that?
We are trying to collect thousands of these pics of our producers with similar fliers all around the world; we are then planning to animate all of these pics with our fliers moving from person to person- similar to the slide show on our home page, only much faster and with a lot more people. This will be part of a promo we are making and also play during our credits. It's a sure fire way to appear in our film :)

oh no, its 100% real live, its basically me creeping uppon the roof of a hut, on the hut is an A4 print of The 1 Second Film, if you dont like it PLEASE SAY SO be honest ill do another!!! we must ALL be happy with everything,

if you (or any other producers) are up for it, send more pics if you can- especially of putting our fliers around your city and in public spaces. maybe post pics in your producer blog? that would be awesome. i'm happy with everything.

I created a custom t-shirt, so I can show off my Producer credit, on http://www.customink.co.... I've used both the logo and the flyer (front and back respectively), put my name, as well as the websites. :-)

Hey Rich. You can link any video to your profile, however if you create a video related to the 1 Second Film (in any creative way you can think of) it's more likely to be featured in our documentary or on the site itself!

You obviously have video making skills.
There are some tips/guidelines for our video submissions here:
We are basically looking for producers to send short videos related to The 1 Second Film that we can put in our collaborative documentary.
Show us who you are, tell the world "I'm a producer of The 1 Second Film." And let us know why you are getting involved.
Feel free to be creative, but please avoid background music that is copyright protected or images that require legal clearance. Clips that pose clearance issues will not be used in our doc.
