My Bio
At the age of 6, 1977 was a pivotal year for me. This was the year that introduced me to movie magic when I saw two amazing films called "Close Encounters of The Third Kind" and "Star Wars". These two movies were the ones that got me interested in the art and science of film making, and more importantly they were the movies that made me interested in the art of storytelling via motion picture screenplays. Although my main profession has been in the computer industry, I have never lost the desire to break into the film industry as a story teller and as an artist. To date I have written or co-written 5 motion picture screenplays which include "Without Papers", "First Born", "Dark World", "$123 Dollars" and "MechWarrior", based on the game of the same title. I am currently working on my 6th script "The Outsider" (an animated concept). I also have ideas for 7 more scripts tentatively named "Rolling Thunder", "Illusion of Power", "The Bismarck", "Sub Zero", "The Covenant", "Demigod" and "Sabotage". Additionally I have written coverage on several other screenplays, mainly for my best friend who has written well over 20 motion picture screenplays. In 1997 "Without Papers" made it to the top 16 screenplays in American Zoetrope's annual screenwriting competition, but the script was passed over for budget considerations. In 2000 I was the lead Mission Designer for the 3D PC RTS game "Far Gate" produced by Super X Studios and I also scripted most of the in game, engine driven cinematic cut scenes.
What are some things you're doing to help make this film?
Going to tell some friends about it.
Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
I'm going to be blunt: Unabashed self interest and the opportunity to produce a film alongside a lot of famous people who work in Hollywood. How fun! It's pretty awesome. I would love to have gone above Kiefer Sutherland, but I just don't have $600.24 cents to give away so I shot a bit lower and picked an amount above Seth Green because I could afford $40 bucks and "Robot Chicken" is amazing. Having said that, I might not have donated money to this project if it were not going to a good cause, but amazingly the proceeds are going to a good cause! Womens' rights are extremely important to building and maintaining a modern civilization, and if the proceeds from this project are going to help women, then it's money spent for a good cause as well as being fun. You just can't beat that!

Lscarrozzi's Perfect Moment

If you had to choose a 'perfect moment' from your life to make into a one-second film, what would it be?

There are many perfect moments in my life, but I don't think any of them can be reduced to a one second time frame. One second just isn't enough to encapsulate thoughts and emotions about the very best experiences I have had in life. Hopefully it will be different for your film!
