My Bio
Hey I'm Alex Gonzalez. I am a Sophomore at Fairfield Unviersity, CT studying Film and my camera has been an extension of my body for as long as I can remember. During my earlier years I used to film a lot of skateboarding, and those shenanigans eventually led me to direct a couple of stunt/skateboarding videos with the title of HomeJacked behind them. My videos started to gain lots of street cred and notability around my community and especially around the skateboarding community around town. But after leaving for college I went to school basically ready dig my own grave, I started at Fairfield with a business background. Two weeks later I discovered that my school had a pretty decent- up-and-coming film department. I dropped everything with the name of business and I have been shooting for the dream ever since. Since I made that decision I have worked on numerous student projects, documentaries, and TV spots. I really hope to one day make "HomeJacked" into something tangible. This spring I am setting to direct my first short film. Right now I am casting for it, its about 21 pages long.
What are some things you're doing to help make this film?

Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
I love the concept of it. I love reading about other projects and people and what is going on in the community.

Agtechs's Perfect Moment

If you had to choose a 'perfect moment' from your life to make into a one-second film, what would it be?

The day I premiered my final movie "HomeJacked". The film was pretty much a hodge-podge of the last five years of my life, filled with pranks, stunts, and memorable times. Watching other people respond to that positively, is something I will never forget.

Thanks so much Alex! Would love to have your help. If you get a chance, please fill in your volunteer preferences in your profile; we're building a new site that will be converting these preferences into groups and make it easier to coordinate. Also, for now, just try and get a couple of friends to sign up and donate. Make sure they mention your name so we can add them to your referrals on the new site. If you wanna make promo videos, posters, etc, that would be awesome. Let me know your thoughts!
