My Bio
Abandoned at birth and left on the steps of the Catholic Hospital in Augusta, GA. Grew up a trouble-making child who was thrown out of school in his early teens. He served in the Marine Corps during The Gulf War, but was given a medical discharge after suffering a head injury. Decided to start a new life by taking a new name: Baker from his Uncle and Kevin from a friend. Then discovered a talent: Could pitch a horsehoe better than anyone. In 1988, organized a four-man team, taking on all comers in the Pacific Northwest and began touring the country, playing against anyone for money. Entertained crowds by pitching at times from behind his back and through his legs. Has traveled more than 1 million miles in twenty years of barnstorming, and played before more than 20,000 spectators. In 2008, he threw out the first pitch before the women's horsehoe competition at the China Olympics. A day later, suffered a stroke that ended his playing career. Continues to play wheelchair bound.
