What are some things you're doing to help make this film?
I have become a geek!
Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
This is perhaps the most innovative film-making project I have ever come across. Jonah Hill (although I doubt he remembers me) mentioned this project to me several months ago and I only now was reminded of it when I overheard someone say what a novel idea it would be to make a one second movie...I dashed to my laptop and donated because, while the cause is excellent, the opportunity the project gives to many aspiring film-makers, actors, producers, screen writers, to augment their resumé. Even for regular people who participate the reasons, whether selfish or selfless, are worth it.

Stevebuggy's Perfect Moment

If you had to choose a 'perfect moment' from your life to make into a one-second film, what would it be?

Firstly, I must say that I am an avid traveller and take any opportunity to go wherever I can and see as much as I can see. I have been very fortunate to have travelled to almost thirty countries. My most 'perfect moment' to date would have occured in November 2006 in the Vatican City. While I am not religious in any way, in fact I'm an athiest, I do appreciate beauty in all forms. My perfect moment would definately be time I drank an expresso and smoked a cigarette while sittin gin a nice comfortable chair on the roof of the St. Peters Basilica. My friends decided not to climb to the top of the cupola (the dome at the top of the Basicila), so I went alone. I walked up all the stairs and down the narrow corridors until I reached the very top. In 11 minutes no less, I called my Dad to say "hi", and took a stroll around the arches and took in the beautiful view of Rome, in all its glory. On the way back, I noticed a tiny cafe perched on the roof, about 50ft away from where the statues of Jesus and the Saints line the rooftop. I bought my coffee and sat outside in the beautiful November warmth and sparked up a cigarette. It was the first time when I was completely aware of all of the problems in the world and yet unconditionally calm, to myself and relaxed. If I get another moment like that in my life, I will try to make it last longer.

Thanks for the support Stephen! Im not sure what happened, but there was a delay/glitch in your credit being verified after you donated. Hopefully everything is cool on your end. Cheers,

It is totally fine dude, I'm just glad I get to be a part of it. I think this is such a great idea...totally novel and extremely EXTREMELY clever. The cause is great and you have stirred the interests of lots of people. I am in the middle of renovating my facebook page so as to promote the website and the cause. By the way, I will be doing a blog entry, I just wanna clarify one thing; everyone who donates money and achieves a "producer" status of any kind gets their name in the end credits right? Because I know for sure, if I was to throw up a few posters in my University that the media studies students would be very interested in taking part and psuedo-augmenting their CVs with something like this lol.

Once again, way to go on such a great project!

Thanks Stephen. I appreciate you getting what this is about. Things are still growing slowly as we gradually build the tools to see this through. Early supporters like you really help to get the word out. And to answer your question, everyone who donates $1 or more will be listed in our film credits as a producer. Hopefully we will be able to get our credits re-listed on IMDb once the film is complete. We are also going to make it so that everyone who signs up on our website gets a "Special Thanks" credit in the movie (for free). While we need to fundraise, the ultimate goal is to just get as many participants as possible, and to then create more collaborative projects.

If you put up any posters, etc. send us some photos or videos!

Best,
