My Bio
From N.VA and wanted to go into the film and television industry ever since I was 5 years old. Everything about t.v. and film facinates me to acting in front of the camera to what goes on behind the scenes to make the film possible. My top 5 favorites actresses would be Meryl Strep, Angelina Jolie, Kim Raver, Eva Longoreia and Marylynn Rasjkub. My top 5 actors would be Donald Sutherland, Brad Pitt, Jack Nicholson, John Stamos and Kiefer Sutherland. If I got to act along side any one of those people I think that is one perfect moment that I would make into a one second film. If I had to pick a show that I would be able to act in I have two: one would have been ER because it started some of the greatest actors of all time careers and it would be cool to be on one of the longest running dramas in television history. The second would be my favorite show of all time 24. Need to cast someone for a role contact me! :) I would love help/advice to start my acting career :)
What are some things you're doing to help make this film?
Trying to spread the word. Want me to help with something? Let me know, I'd be happy to!
Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
It seemed like an awsome idea. Why not do it? Donate to charity and help finance a film and get your name on the big screen with celebrities and thousands of people from all over the world, how cool is that?!(plus the fact that I have wanted to go into film and television industry since I was 5, no joke! And I will do it!I am in the process of trying.)

Lauren Sullivan's Perfect Moment

If you had to choose a 'perfect moment' from your life to make into a one-second film, what would it be?

hey lauren,

the info for tax-deductible changed today. link to info is here:

previously, you had to make donations through our fiscal sponsor (Filmmakers Alliance) for your donations to be tax deductible.

However, some good news to share. Today, we finally got our 501(c)3 non-profit status approved by the IRS for the Collaboration Foundation. this will apply retroactively from the date we completed our application - August 29th, 2008.

So, if I understand things correctly, the donations you made after August 29th, 2008 can be made tax-deductible in the US.

I still have some reading up to do on the correct procedure, but I think we just send you a letter of receipt along with our tax ID# for your records.

I'll work on putting that together for you. I still have to post about our non-profit news- this all just happened today! :)

also, i haven't mailed the surprise yet! been meaning too, but haven't had time to go to the post office. Will send you a message after i mail it.

hey lauren, thanks for the check in, in triplicate :)

all is well. a bit frustrated that the new site is taking so long. meeting with the programmers tuesday to prioritize time/resources. i've never done most of this stuff before, so there is a learning curve.

meanwhile, work on the documentary continues. still digitizing, logging footage, and editing sub-clips.

btw, if/when we get our official 501(c)3 non-profit status from the IRS, your donations should become tax-deductible. hoping to hear from the IRS this month.

wow lauren, thanks for the continued support! and for helping us pass the 10,000 producer mark! :)

i'm just looking at my previous comment estimating the time to build our new site- and after 3 months, it is still not done! :(

it's taking the programmers longer than was estimated, but there has been progress, but there is still a lot to do... Ciplex is bringing another programmer on board Monday to try and speed things up.

your continued support is really appreciated!
