My Bio
Independent filmmaker and member of Screen Actors Guild, American Film Institute, and American Federation of Television & Radio Artists. With experience that spans more than 20 years, Christopher Leps is known for his enthusiasm for the film industry. His diverse career began in entertainment at the Walt Disney Company, but his passion for movies began long before then. At the age of 14, he started training in both martial arts and gymnastics, and following his graduation from high school in 1989, he began his career in the entertainment industry. Combined with his love of movies, his athletic background sparked his pursuit of stunt work, and in 1995 was given the opportunity to work on his first TV series. In March of 2000, he moved to Los Angeles where he currently resides and has since appeared in more than 125 episodes of television and 27 feature films. Inspired by movie-going experiences of his youth and motivated by his zeal for the art of storytelling, he endeavors to create projects that possess imagination and adventure; to bring stories and characters to life by expanding on the creativity embodied in films of the past.
Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
Such a cool project! The movie industry and the world both need more imaginative films. Looking forward to seeing it! The business of art has unfortunately become the art of business. Creativity has taken a backset to box office grosses, and as a result, entertainment value has decreased. Attempting to get the "pendulum" to swing back the other way is my greatest filmmaking endeavor. Special thanks to Sara White for constant support and encouragement!

OffThePage's Perfect Moment

If you had to choose a 'perfect moment' from your life to make into a one-second film, what would it be?

Too many to choose from... a life filled with awesome family, friends and loves. Watching Raiders of the Lost Ark in the theater with my Dad, or any one of my Mom's reactions to my surprise visits.
