My Bio
I'm 24 years old, born in Singapore but raised in Wellington, New Zealand. I currently work for The Radio Network as an avertising traffic manager, though I did a degree in film and theatre at Victoria University of Wellington. I'm not much of an actor, but drama was my introduction into the arts as a child, so I guess I'll always have some sentimental attachment to the stage. Anyhoo, my involvment in film at the moment is that of a spectator and supporter - especially since my Mac died :( So my creative outlets are more introverted - painting, writing and the like. But I guess that's part of the process or whatever. Good times.
Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
I think it's a great fundraising idea, and I like the community it's created.

Thanks Mel! I added you to the POTM and put you in my blog :)

We are still building the community foundation of this project, but I think that is definitely one of the cooler aspects of this. We are slowly building more online tools; it's getting better, but still has a way to go. We are making a "friend" type feature so our crew can start connecting more. Then we want to build more collaborative features and make it easier to share creatively. Are any of your paintings online?

cool. I'm not that tech savvy - this is pretty much the first online "profile" I've ever had, so watch this space I guess.

wow, your first online profile- the cool thing about this is that your donation is helping to build this space. i think there are ways to upload images, but they aren't very intuitive yet. it's one of the many things we would like to improve when we can. We just added a "My Crew" feature so you can add other producers to your network. Eventally we will add some features so you get updates on your Crews contributions to the project.

hey there - good to be on board! Love the optimus prime pic - I saw transformers for the first time just the other day and I thought it fckn ruled. You can totally add me to the producer of the moment pool : )
