According to the latest press release: Robert Angelo Masciantonio is a director and screenwriter based in the Philadelphia area. He is a graduate of the Episcopal Academy and studied film at Temple University, where he won the Silver Reel Award for his short film, Jerks. From there he went on to write, direct, and produce the feature film 'Cold Hearts'. The film had a theatrical run in Los Angeles and New York before hitting video and DVD to a worldwide audience. Since its release, 'Cold Hearts' has become a cult favorite with fans turning out everywhere in Florida, Chicago, New York, and Rome to show support at conventions such as the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors. It also won the grand prize at the Atlantic City Film Festival. His award winning film 'All Along' has finished its run on the festival circuit and will be released theatrically nationwide in 2009. Robert has also written and directed three shorts for the 48 Hour Film Project with 'How 'bout This?' and 'When You Sing', winning the coveted audience award. He has also taught screenwriting at Drexel University. He is now wrapping up postproduction work on his newest feature, the horror film 'neighbor'. It stars America Olivo (Friday the 13th, Transformers 2) and Christian Campbell (Cold Hearts, Trick). Special effects were created by Vincent Guastini (Dogma, Requiem for a Dream, Letters from Iwo Jima).
