My Bio
Jason wrote his first computer program in 6th grade, designed and built a computer before finishing high school, and then went to MIT to become... a molecular biologist. The move from computers to molecular biology makes sense when you think about DNA as "programming code" and recombinant DNA technology as the means to reprogram organisms. Jason's interest in "programming" things has since taken him into website development. The rise of content management system (CMS) technology has created a wonderful opportunity for everyone to "program" a website. Once the installation of a CMS and its initial setup is complete, any authorized person who has been given the proper training can easily create, edit, and delete information on the website. Jason lives in Berkeley, California with his wife Irene. When he is not working on ways to make technology easier and more helpful, Jason enjoys entertaining friends with cooking and cocktails, then working it all off with loads of exercise (biking, running, and rowing).

Jason, I'm listing you as one of my heroes. Thank you SO much for the extra effort you have put into this site, and for all the long hours you put in today to keep it running. You are an amazing programmer, and all round awesome guy. I have been through so many web development nightmares, so to finally find someone who could get the job done, and deal with my obsessiveness with a sense of humor has been such a pleasure. You have written the code that connects this idea to real people, and that is an amazing thing. Thanks again, and I look forward to working with you as this continues.
