My Bio
I'm a senior at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, majoring in Mass Communications – Radio & Television. I also studied film production at Webster University (in St. Louis) for a while. Since my dad was an Air Force pilot, I grew up all over the world – born in Japan, then spent 3 years each in Arkansas, England, and New Jersey. My dad retired, and we've been in southern Illinois ever since. I've always had a passion for visual storytelling, and I've produced several personal, professional, and classroom projects throughout high school & college. My greatest production so far has been "Sowing the Seeds of Justice," a 7-minute documentary raising poverty awareness in southern Illinois.
Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
Honestly, I wanted my name to appear higher than Pierce Brosnan's (my favorite actor!) I saw this as the only possible opportunity I'd ever get in my life. I'd pay anything just to be able to say, "I've been on top of Pierce Brosnan." haha I'm sure a lot of people would feel the same way. And, with the money going toward a good cause, it's definitely a win-win situation.

Genevieve Collins's Perfect Moment

If you had to choose a 'perfect moment' from your life to make into a one-second film, what would it be?

waking up to see my Beagle Zorro seemingly smiling at me, lying next to me like a human, his head sideways on the pillow
