What are some things you're doing to help make this film?
I just started my own message board on Yahoo!: http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/one_second_film/ It only has 3 members, but there's still time yet, so please join....and I have posted a blog on http://scorp4eva73.multiply.com/ getting some of my online DJ buddies to sign up for this as well...
Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
I enrolled in a speech class for my last semester at school, and for my first speech I plugged the movie. I not only have plugged the movie on my Multiply blog, but have set up a Yahoo! Group as well. Thanks for letting me get one step closer to realizing my dreams. I have already told one of my friends and I will be telling many more about it. Plus this looks really good on a resume. Who knows we may all win Oscars for best picture (although that will be a hell of a lot of Oscars to send out)!

Laetitia Kae-Jones's Perfect Moment

If you had to choose a 'perfect moment' from your life to make into a one-second film, what would it be?

I don't think I've had one yet.....

This week, we finally got Varnish installed on our servers. Varnish helps our Drupal site performance by making better use of cache to serve up content (instead of the database), and will allow our site to handle a lot more anonymous visitors (hopefully!).

We are still making other site improvements. The site is still pretty slow, and we also need to improve performance for logged in users. Basically, there is a lot of tech to do. We don't have the resources to do everything, but we want to make  sure we make the most of what we have.
