I am 26 years old and I grew up in my hometown of Yonkers, NY. I went off to college and studied a double major in Visual Arts & Television Production at SUNY New Paltz. After receiving my bachelor degree, my love for film compelled me to enroll in an intensive Filmmaking program at New York Film Academy, NYC. Now B265back in Yonkers, I have been working as a freelance Video Editor, Camera Operator, and Graphic Designer in the NYC metro area ever since. With all my heart and every possible spare minute, I work on my own film projects with fellow colleagues and friends. Most recently entered a film titled "Peace of Mind" into the NYC Division of The 48 Hour Film Project, which screened on July 13th, 2005. I am completely in Love with filmmaking and I have big plans for the future. "The 1 Second Film" project is a great start, but will merely be the beginning of Nicholas Mastromarco's film credits for years and decades to come.I'm financing The 1 Second Film to support the ideas and beliefs of my fellow filmmakers. The concept for this film and cause is quite interesting. It is the new, "fresh" ideas like these that make positive changes for the future of filmmaking.
