Conduct public relations on behalf of producers, filmmakers, executives, actors, writers, authors and composers. Pitch, schedule, coordinate and facilitate interviews and photo shoots for trade and entertainment consumer press. SPECIAL EVENTS/PREMIERES/LAUNCHES/OPENINGS
Organize, credential and orchestrate media attendance on the red carpet for special events and parties. Build awareness and anticipation of an event with the press and target market. Secure awards recipients and presenters. Invite celebrity and press attendees. Pitch, schedule, coordinate and facilitate interviews, photo shoots and write press releases and biographies, prepare press kits in support of the event.
UNIT PUBLICITY/TELEVISION
Create and execute publicity campaigns for nationally syndicated or network shows. Work alongside studio and production company executives, attend all production meetings and show tapings to develop pitches that generate press coverage for the production and the host. Arrange set-visits with national and local print and broadcast outlets and schedule unit photographers when appropriate. Place items, photographs and show clips in national and local market media. Schedule and facilitate radio and satellite media tours. Service press breaks, prepare weekly status and monthly clip reports.
