My Bio
Hi, I'm the director of The 1 Second Film. My background is in animation (mostly stop-motion). If interested, you can see some of my previous work on my website: www.nirvan.com. The idea for this project began while I was at CalArts studying Experimental Animation. After graduating, I started selling $1 Producer credits to raise funds to grow the project. Several of the past few years have been spent on web development to allow the project to grow. If you want to read more about how this project has developed, please check out our production timeline. What are some things you're doing to help make this film?

Why are you supporting The 1 Second Film project?
I really believe in the idea. This is more than a movie to me; it is part of a larger movement. With so many tools connecting our world, there seems a need for projects that tap into our collaborative potential and explore creative ways for us to work together. For me, this project is all about the process, the tools, and most importantly, the people who make it possible. The support this has received is truely overwhelming, and inspires me to keep going.

Hi, Nirvan! Although I'm just a high-school student, I also have a dream in which art unites the world. I am in full support of what you and so many other thousands of people are doing, and wish to see the final results of "Phase 1"! I must ask though: Where is the "next step" after this, I mean before "Phase 2"? Ae you going to start the publicity process all over again? If you do, we can all help!
