Michael Cera is a Canadian actor known for his roles in Arrested Development, Superbad, and Juno. -- We met Michael by chance in a Silverlake coffee shop. Told him about our project and he asked if he could just donate $1 cash on the spot to become our producer. We said yes! I didn't have a flier or anything with me, so I borrowed his pen and gave him my parking slip with our website on it, which he referred to as our contract. Super nice guy. I also asked if he would allow public donations toward his producer credit. He asked me what that would do, and I told him it would allow other folks to chip in as his benefactor to help move his name up our producer credits. He was totally cool with that.
