Building our Collaborative Network

Our producer profiles are being built from the ground up with grassroots support using Drupal open-source tools, and will continue to improve as our project grows. The profiles allow producers to share interests, communicate, and to contribute content that can be used in our open-source film. Each producer also gets a blog that they can use to share what they are doing with the rest of our crew. One goal of our project is to harness the power of social networking to create collaborative art and social change.

Help Fundraise with "Open Credits"

Help fundraise by setting your Producer Profile to an "Open Credit" and allowing anyone in the world to become your 'benefactor' by donating $1 or more to your credit! The more you raise, the more you help, and the higher your producer name will move up our credit list! Start an open credit for your school or organization and start a bidding challenge with a friendly rival!

Become a "Producer of the Moment"

To become a featured "Producer of the Moment" (POTM) simply upload a picture to your profile of you promoting The 1 Second Film in your part of the world. Then fill in your bio, and post a request in our POTM Forum. We will add you to our Producer of the Moment pool, and your profile will be seen by people around the world!

Free Profiles for Aspiring-Producers

Don't have $1? You can still register to join The 1 Second Film for free, and will receive an Aspiring Producer Profile. You can then set your profile to an "Open Credit" to allow other people to donate to your account and forward your page to friends and family. Once you have raised $1 or more, you will become an official producer of The 1 Second Film and will get a Producer Profile allowing full participation in our collaborative community!
