2007 Film year in review
This year has been crazy busy for me in many aspects of my acting career. An actor friend of mine posted a list of his achievments for the year so I did the same and here they are for my 1secondfilm page.
One thing that wasn't catagorized in the list and something that I am most proud of is that I was an extra for The Dark Knight over the summer while filming took place in Chicago, IL. Well, I just saw the trailer and I'm totally in it! You can see a screen cap on my IMDB page or my official site. When you see it, look just behind the woman in white. It's pretty much one of the most exciting things that's ever happened and I'm that much more thrilled to see the film next Summer!
And here's the list:
2007 Plays: a) SIUE: "Stuffed Animals in the Bathroom Stall", "Warm Fuzzies", "Doom Quartet" b) St. Louis Science Center: "The Evil Count Steals Science", "The Science of Peeps", "Mighy Mitochondrion Climbs Mt. Everest", "DNA: It's All About You"

2007 Film (was supposed to be in it but...): Leader of the Pack (supporting - Thomas - film was cancelled while in pre-production), Behind Blind Eyes (supporting - Dr. Brown - film was also cancelled after beginning production)
2007 Promotions: I made two appearances as Spider-Man for Marvel Entertainment as well as working for Ritz, Dairy Queen, Glad, Verizon and Sony
2007 Other cool stuff: Production assistant for season 20 of The Real World and the film Kingshighway
2008 Films pending: Stashed Away: The Silex Code, I-59 South, Fallen Skyes, Wipe Your Tears, Johann Gunner vs the Vampire Bastards
2008 Film premieres: Jealousy (lead - solo screening - Jan 12), Colonel Kill (DVD - Jan 17)
Trivia: Although most of it didn't show in the film, I had a very steamy scene with Erin Marie Hogan in Abbey of Thelema (maybe it'll make the DVD deleted scenes)

Gameheads review on Slice of SciFi!!
Gameheads is an indie feature film written and directed by Gwendalyn Cope that I have a lead role in. It's a fantastic and imaginative film about a group of RPG gamers and the lives that play out in between their bi-weekly game day. The amazingly popular pop culture site with their own podcast, Slice of SciFi, just wrote an amazing review of the film. Check it out at the link here. And if you would like to check out more, please visit the links below! Want a DVD? (sure ya do!) Go to the official site and get your copy today!
The Pickup Artist (season 2)
I just learned I'm a finalist to be on VH-1's second season of The Pickup Artist! Hopefully I'll make it on officially and you'll see me this Fall! I can't say anymore as I'm sworn to secrecy but how cool is that?!
All sorts of news!
Hello everyone! I have a whole boatload of news as I have been a very busy boy lately. First on the list is that I have landed a role in the upcoming horror epic titled "Blood de Madam: The Fallen Ones" in a principle role. Also starring in the film are horror greats Ari Lehman, Tiffany Shepis, Felissa Rose, Lloyd Kaufman, and Monique Dupree! As you can imagine, I'm quite stoked about it! My short film "Scalpel" that I wrote, prouduced, and directed is currently making the festival rounds. It screened in the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase as well as KDHX's Coming UP Shorts Program and will be in Idaho Ave. Film Festival in St. Louis, MO on Sep. 13 as well. I have been sending it all over the place and hopefully will have many more fests to announce soon. On the topic of fests, another short called "The Blind Date of Coffin Joe" in which I have a short appearance has screened in the Fright Night Film Festival and will also be in the Dark Carnival Film Fest as well as the Idaho Ave. Film Festival. (and hopefully many others to come) I just learned that I will be a special guest along with the Hack Movies production company (makers of offensive horror comedy) at the 1st annual Monstrous Weekend in St. Louis, MO on Oct. 24-26. The lot of us will be signing autographs, schmoozing it up, and of course, doing as much shameless promotion as possible on all our collective projects. Speaking of being a special guest, I will also be on blog talk radio's Independent Film United podcast on Sep. 3rd at 8pm (cst). I will be talking about all sorts of things including my past and future projects, filmmaking, how to go about making connections, and of course, The 1 Second Film. Please check out the various links for the projects and topics I mentioned above and feel free to tell everyone you've ever known about my appearance on IFU. (Call-ins are welcome as well.) Thanks! October updates
I have recently signed on to produce and direct the feature dramatic thriller "I-59 South" starring Olivia de Havilland (Gone with the Wind) and Luke Flynn (In Like Flynn). We are also seeking some other very big names. I am very excited about this project and can't wait to get to work on it! More info can be found on IMDB. Meanwhile, I am also gearing up for another dramatic feature called "Ben and Alex" with Missy Crider and Nicholas Hoult that will be filming in/around St. Louis, MO the end of this year or early next. It concerns a young man who falls for a beautiful killer. More info can be found at www.myspace.com/benandalexfilm I am also working to help produce a number of films including "Land of Canaan" (Robert England, Juliet Landau, Tara Reid, and Ryan Reynolds in talks), Mina (horror feature based on the award-winning short), "Proving Ground: From the Adventures of Captain Redlocks" (starring Kim Rhodes from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Holliston Coleman), and "Above the Line" (about a young man who can't seem to find worth in relationships, especially with himself - by writer/producer/director Harry Kroenlein), and "The Arts of Chaos" (allegorical WWII drama taking place between a circle of high school friends).
