Perfect Moments

Firstly, I must say that I am an avid traveller and take any opportunity to go wherever I can and see as much as I can see. I have been very fortunate to have travelled to almost thirty countries. My most 'perfect moment' to date would have occured in November 2006 in the Vatican City. While I am not religious in any way, in fact I'm an athiest, I do appreciate beauty in all forms. My perfect moment would definately be time I drank an expresso and smoked a cigarette while sittin gin a nice comfortable chair on the roof of the St. Peters Basilica. My friends decided not to climb to the top of the cupola (the dome at the top of the Basicila), so I went alone. I walked up all the stairs and down the narrow corridors until I reached the very top. In 11 minutes no less, I called my Dad to say "hi", and took a stroll around the arches and took in the beautiful view of Rome, in all its glory. On the way back, I noticed a tiny cafe perched on the roof, about 50ft away from where the statues of Jesus and the Saints line the rooftop. I bought my coffee and sat outside in the beautiful November warmth and sparked up a cigarette. It was the first time when I was completely aware of all of the problems in the world and yet unconditionally calm, to myself and relaxed. If I get another moment like that in my life, I will try to make it last longer.

If I could make a moment into a one-second film from my life, I think it would be the moment I realized I was happy with who I am and the lot of my life.

A moment whenever my face is awashed in compassion after I give spare change to a homeless person.

Anyone of my acid or mushroom trips. I don't do that stuff anymore, but man it was sure fun!

At a Gallagher show in boca raton?, he allowed a lot of the audience to come up on stage and use sledge-o-matic. He removed the original piece of food when he saw me and put a jug of juice instead. As the hammer came down, it splashed in every direction to reach about 20 feet out into the crowd. The crowd cheered like hell for me, and Gallagher said, 'good job kid'

That time I was witty.

I would say the time when I was very sick as a child and how I stay strong, and always stay positive regardless of the circumstances.

This may seem silly, but not all perfect moments are glamorous. It would be the moment when I met Seth Green! I think it would be awesome to meet him. If I ever got the chance to work with Mr. Green with anything from moving a couch (Seth knows this lol) to working on his show (Robot Chicken perhaps?!) would mean the most to me.

MANY MOMENTS...MAKE UP A LIFE. NOT SURE IF I COULD PICK JUST ONE. BUT, ALWAYS,,THE EXCITEMENT OF CREATIVE SYNERGY... THE POWER, OF PURE HEARTED HUMAN EMOTION. THE PERFECT MOMENTS ARE FEELING THAT, WHAT YOU CAN BELIEVE, & ACHIEVE... IS NOT ONLY POSSIBLE,,, BUT, IS HAPPENENING!!! IN THAT MOMENT,,,YOU REALIZE YOU ARE MORE THAN ONE, ...A PART, OF MANY.

Perfect Moment. i thought about it heaps and to be honest its a pretty simple one. i was at school in my lit class and we watched/listened to a performance poet called shane koyczan. the imagery in that poem just hit me, and it was such a great moment. if anyones reading this check out his work, its amazing.

The perfect moment from my life to be in the one-second film.. I think it'd be tough. Our entire life is filled with momentary shots and if you pick one you're denying yourself a lifetime of other amazing moments. So to have anything in the one-second film, I'd say life.. in general.

The first time I opened my eyes as a newborn.

Life is filled with so many perfect moments. My most important seconds that I want to record right now are with my 16 month twin girls Kate and Annie. The loves of my life. Second by second these moments fly by never to be repeated exactly alike again.

Probably the birth of my son; it was amazing and it happened pretty fast (by cesarean section), but probably a bit longer than a second.

Any time I've woken up with a gentle breeze on my face.

The day i played Santa Claus on christmas of 2003. I was really depressed and sad that year and being Santa for a couple of hours lifted my spirit as well as other children.

I would have to say that it would be kind of fun and neat to have 24 frames of pictures from my birth to my death but since I'm not dead yet it would have to be something else. Mabey different pictures of me and my siblings just goofing around or some memorable pictures from our childhood when all three of us are gathered in our daily life. Something really simple and casual.

When I got my wings the first time I was ever on an airplane. I think the captain, or a male flight attendant, gave me a pin with wings on it, and he actually pinned it on my shirt. I felt super special - I was 4. I like flying. The moment the pin went through the fabric, that is what it would be.

The first time I jumped a horse over 2'6. It took me eight years to get there, but when I finally did it, I felt like nothing else in the world.

A perfect moment for me is to look (somewhere, sometimes) into the eyes of somebody I don't know at all and then we just smile and move along, that's it.

That moment when I make someone smile. The genuine, caught of gaurd, making someone's cheeks hurt... kind of smile. It makes everything in your life peaceful for that one moment.

The day i screened my first film at the New York Film Academy.

Anger and release. A release that makes me feel alive and that nothing else matters.

I'm still pretty early into mine, don't think I've had one of those moments yet.

It would have to be the "1 Second" after I first jumped from the ledge, during my first time on a zip-line, when the wire grabbed hold of me, and I knew I was safe.

A very hard question, but I think it would be every moment, I can't pick just one, they all have had a huge impact on the current moment.

There are too many moments yet to come to be able to choose a perfect one, but if I had to choose a moment right now, it would be one of many moments I've spent with my children.

A perfect moment that comes to mind happened one week after I found a lost kitten alone in the mountains. I woke up on morning to find her sleeping next to me tucked under the covers with her head resting on my pillow. For one moment I layed there admiring her when she awoke, turned to me and licked my lip. It was that moment that I realized Ruthie rescued me just as much as I rescued her. We have been in love ever since.

9:17PM, the moment our daughter Kristin was born.

A moment when I was rocking my son and smelling the top of his head when he was 6 months old. He has since passed on so this is a precioius memory to me.
