Hi, my name is Nirvan. I'm the director of The 1 Second Film, and keep this blog as a production journal. We also have an open Producers Blog and a collection of perfect moments.
i guess a producer credit is the perfect last second gift for the holidays, cuz a lot of people have been buying credits for friends and family. we might not be able to post the credits up until after our intern gets back from the holidays, unless sean feels like database entering from seattle.
but it's really cool that a lot of people are buying credits as gifts for the holidays, and we really appreciate the support. it's a good $5, $20, or $10,000 gift, depending on your budget.
Also, just got this rad e-mail from "Doodle" that includes the quote of the day.

"hi, I just upgraded my $11.11 donation to $17.77 (if my math was right).
I may have already answered this, but I found your film on IMDB, while browsing through actor profiles... I think I found it through Andy Dick's credits, whatever that's worth... lol.
anyway, I'm totally hooked now... I love the concept of the 1 Second Film, and the plans for future films... the charity is a bonus, and hopefully will help some people.
I'm a writer and musician, with some filmmaking desires trying to get out... I have no film school training, but the process fascinates me, and I have been learning on my own for a couple of years... I am donating to your film because I truly believe in the world of independent film, and couldn't pass up the "Buy A Credit for $1.00" pitch... I never thought that someone could invest in a motion picture that didn't drive a Benz.
I'll send it a picture or film clip as soon as I figure out something worthwhile...

"I never thought that someone could invest in a motion picture that didn't drive a Benz."
that will definately be going on our testimonial page.
and browsing Andy Dick is worth about $17.77 apparently.
i'm looking forward to seeing a film clip of doodle doing something worthwhile.
best to all,
n
what's funny is that he added $6.66 - he must have been moved by the holiday spirit :)
