EDIT: 3/19 Donation Bugs Are Fixed! Next - working on a patch to fix all  producer credits that were affected.

Just wanted to give a quick update. After our launch last week, we began encountering several bugs with the donation system.

The biggest bugs are related to the donation system. Currently, if new users try to join by clicking "Donate" - they do not get proper producer credit or a crew profile. Also, if users click "Join for Free" and then decide to "Join and Donate" - the site is not working properly, and the user does not get a profile. And finally, if registered users donate toward another crew member, the donation is not registering properly.

This functionality was all working during testing, so it is a bit frustrating, but we are trying to get to the bottom of it.

As a Temporary Fix, new users wishing to donate should:

1. Join for Free

2. Confirm your email to activate your account.

3. Login and then click donate.

- Also, please do not donate toward another crew members open credit until we can fix these issues.

Alex, the developer most familiar with our site, is tied up on another project, so he has not had the time needed to focus on the bug fixes. He has been putting some time in at nights, and is hopefully getting close to fixing the more critical issues.

I've been keeping busy documenting bug issues, and corresponding with new users who have been reporting bugs. Just wanted to give a big thanks for everyone who has signed up and given feedback, it has been extremely helpful. 

The bad news for me is that the longer this takes to fix, the more data there will be for me to go back and correct. So hopefully this will get resolved soon.

Despite the bugs, we have had over 100 new crew members sign up, and it's pretty exciting to see so many of them joining our volunteer crew groups, sharing moments, and uploading photos.

I can't wait til we iron out the kinks, but I'm still super relieved to have the new site live, and also happy that we did a soft launch to give us time to fix these bugs.

On a side note, there are some exciting things in store!
