Michael Cera (Juno, Arrested Development, Super Bad) just become our 12,226th Producer!

I ran into Michael at a coffee shop in Silver Lake. He was reading a book so I didn't bug him. Then he walked by on his way out, and I didn't say anything. I thought he had left, but when I looked behind me, he was standing in the line to order some food. So I said hello, and told him about The 1 Second Film. He was super nice, and liked the idea.

He asked if he could just donate $1 cash on the spot to become our producer. I said of course! I didn't have any fliers or anything, so I borrowed his pen and wrote our website on the back of my parking receipt. I also invited him to the Manifest Equality art show in Los Angeles, where I've been volunteering a bit this past week. Come check it out if you're in LA. Michael said we could make his credit an "open credit"- meaning that other folks can chip in to move him up the producer credit list - but we're having a bug w/ that functionality right now-  as soon as we fix the bug, we will open up his credit so folks can chip in to become Michael Cera's benefactor. Hey, every dollar really helps.
