Our producers are making their own videos and t-shirts this week!

Thanks Laetitia! It's really awesome when producers send in video. There is something exciting about seeing and hearing our producers. Laetitia has been a supporter of this project for some time, and has donated multiple times, chipping in when she can. Steady support like that really means a lot to me.

A small tip for video: try to remember to turn off any background audio (radio, fans, tv, music, etc.) Having a quiet environment makes it easier to hear you, and for us to edit together various clips into our documentary.

It's awesome to see our producers getting involved and making this film their own.

Saturday some friends and I joined Step It Up 2007 in a bike ride across Los Angeles, from downtown to Hollywood; it was part of thousands of coordinated actions across America calling on congress to reduce carbon emissions 80% by 2050. Time will tell if our ride was succesful in the long run; but in the short run, it was a fun ride. Here are some pics (view the flickr set):

In other news, I've been putting together a newsletter and a press release. Also starting to cook up some other plans. It's fun now that this site is done and things are easier to maintain.

I may have a little adventure tomorrow; one of our producers is trying to arrange a meet up with one of his friends, who would be an awesome producer to have on board. I'll let you know if it happens.
