How to be Michael Cera's Benefactor

Michael CeraWhen Michael Cera donated $1 at the coffee shop last week, I asked  if he would like to open his credit up to allow others to donate toward him. He asked what that would do, and I explained how our producers get listed in order of amount - so if other folks can donate toward his credit, it would move his name up our credits. Folks who chip in toward his credit would also be listed as his benefactor. Michael liked this idea and said to go for it, making him our first Celebrity Producer to have an open credit.

Last week, we were having some bugs with our donation system, so Cera's credit remained closed while we fixed the issues. But now, our donation system is working again, so we have opened his credit up to the public.

I just chipped in $1.01 to become Michael Cera's benefactor.

If you would like to be Michael Cera's benefactor, just visit his profile and click donate, or go directly to this link:

Note: for existing Crew Members, please login before you donate so you get your proper benefactor credit! Otherwise, it will create a new account.

Michael Cera's Producer<br />
CreditWhoever donates the most toward his credit will be Michael Cera's top benefactor. Also, if we can get him to the $10 level, he will level up to official Producer status (instead of just an Associate Producer). Maybe we can get him up to the Executive Producer level?

Let me know what you think. And if there are other celebrity producers you would like to donate toward, let me know in the comments, and I'll try to contact them to see if they would like to open their credit up.

If you want to open your credit, go to your account settings (privacy/donations) and select "open credit." Then invite your friends to chip in to level you up. To donate to any open credit, visit the profile, and click the donate button next to the profile pic. If you're already a crew member, please login befor donating to another crew member! Please let me know if something doesn't work right.

Your donations are tax-deductible, so this is another fun way to support our project.

Thanks :)
