Get Togethers

The last few days have been a flurry; Janeen, Gianelle and I got together collectively for the first time, which was really good. Janeen brought a lot of structure to my 6 page list of web site goals. I had typed it all out on a word document, but Janeen brought it into Excel and broke it into different catagories (enhancements, fixes, new features), and helped prioritize and track each task. It is obvious she has tackled these sort of challenges before, and it's really helpful to have her experience to help organize.

Meanwhile Gianelle and I have been getting other projects organized. We are creating binders for the various sub-projects (Road Trip, Fundraising, Press/Media, Volunteers) and have started putting out notices for summer interns to help with production and marketing. The big goal is shaping up around the Road Trip. We will be building a new section of the site for the Road Trip, but already have a little section set aside here just to start getting the idea out there for the early birds.

I went to Pasadena yesterday and met with Julie and Brett from the Evangenitals, AKA the 'Love Punks', and we began sketching out a dream plan. It's a nice dream! But it's gonna take some work.

I'm headed to Seattle today to visit one of my best friends who just had a son; I'll be working a bit virtually and will be back Tuesday full force.
