Hi, my name is Nirvan. I'm the director of The 1 Second Film, and keep this blog as a production journal. We also have an open Producers Blog and a collection of perfect moments.
The parade was a lot of fun! Big thanks to our producers who came out: Ellen, Mike, Karen, Levi, Patrixx, Juli, Lisa, and of course Tequila. Also saw Noella and Ed, and have heard from a few more who were in attendance.
I spent most of the parade on the roof of the bus in my dandelion helmet waving to kids. It was a really beautifulday, and a big turn out. I'd say 10s of thousands of folks. The biggest surprise was seeing people running out from the crowd to chase down our bus and give a dollar. Over 30 folks, young and old, chased us down and signed up as producers by writing their names on the sign up sheets of our movin caboose. They were walking while writing. It was pretty hilaious, but made for some difficult task today of transcribing the messy handrwiting. I'm sure I spelled some of our new producer names wrong. Contact me with any spelling corrections! We are nearing 9,000 Producers strong! :)

Our road trip often felt like we were on a parade, especially when we got on the roof going over the Hoover Dam and again going through Harlem and Times Square. Parades are pretty great. And we were in good company, as evident by a few more pics, these by fabooj

Hey Nirvan, here's another good pic of the bus in the parade that I found on Flickr:
That was too much fun, man. I wish we had another parade scheduled this weekend. :-)
