9,800 Producers + Behind the Screen Site Development

We passed 9,800 Producers yesterday! Thanks everyone who has been joining!

Meanwhile, I've been working super long hours designing the new sign up and registration process. Been workin on it for 2 weeks! Finally finished at 3am last night and uploaded the PSD files to Ciplex. I was so tired, i was falling asleep as each file uploaded. But I wanted to get it done as custom coding was waiting for these new designs.

Ciplex has been doing a great job so far. They have created initial themes from the designs I put together, and have installed Drupal 5.0 on a test server. They have also been great at organizing and communicating the plan of attack. Our project manager Michal Minecki is to credit for that. We spent three hours last Saturday going over everything after Drupal Camp.

Building a site of this scale is definitely a pretty interesting and complicated process.

So that lays out the plan of attack.

A ton of work will be happening this week.

Custom coding and installing a bunch of Drupal modules will be starting. On my end, I have to keep up with all the data cleanup, the design work, and build all the static content pagesl. I also want to produce a new intro video to explain the new site.

If all continues to go well, we should have an amazing new site by New Year. 

And it's looking like we might reach 10,000 Producers by then...
