$800 Producer! + newsletter ghost

hey everyone,

i still owe a blog update about last weeks crazy media and bus adventures, but i just wanted to explan the super late newsletter a lot of our producers received today (one month after it was originally sent!). for those wondering why we invited you to a party that already happened, we actually tried sending that newsletter out a month ago! no idea why it took so long to arrive. our newsletter module is clearly having some issues, and i'll investigate. i guess better late than never, and i really appreciate the interest we are getting regarding sponsors and volunteers for our Road to Oprah!

also, we have a new Top 11 Executive Producer to welcome; Chistopher Leps donated $800 yesterday via paypal. I've never met Christopher and still have no idea how he came across The 1 Second Film- but reading his profile and IMDb link, he seems like a prolific filmmaker and stuntman, and i'm glad to have him on our crew- we really really appreciate the support! Large donations help tremendously, as we are still raising much needed funds for our Road Trip and post-production. also, thanks to everyone who has chipped in another $1, $5, $10, or whatever you can. i'm pretty moved by the support. The dollar-by-dollar financing is a constant struggle, but the diversity of support is a beautiful thing, and continues to inspire.

Here is a glimpse of what keeps us going:

Mike brought over an old monitor and we are borrowing a g-4 mac-mini, so we have frankensteined together another work station. our Lacie 1Tb drive crashed causing us to lose 40 hours of digitized footage, so we wll be re-digitizing. We really want to put together an intro video for the home page as soon as we can. That's one of the next priorities now that the roadtooprah.com site is up.
