4am on a saturday

today i missed b-day bbqs, plays, and parties. instead stayed home to work at the atomic pixel level. i didn't mean to miss everything, but just became totally absorbed. computers, computers, photoshop. sometimes i lose track of time. but i'm happy to have made some progress. mike and janeen have been helping mock up new blog layouts so we can give them to jason for the next round of web cleanup; we need to design layouts for all the different blogs (my blog, the producers' blog, plus the individual blogs) so that they are more intuitive, especially with regard to the content in the left side column.

so i spent today incorporating the ideas of jannen and mike, and mashing them with some of my own. also started putting together a new layout for the perfect moment blog. here is a glimpse of a new layout:

i really like the perfect moment blog, but the current state is far from perfect, and is something we just spit out while scrambling to launch the new site. so today i spent some time designing a better layout for the content. not sure if we will be able to get all of the functionality in this pass, but i like to sketch out ideas and see how much time (money) they will cost to implement.

i feel behind on the production blog...there has been a lot happening; my meeting with ben goldhirsh yesterday was awesome. we focussed on the various sequels and ways to start moving them forward. i learned what "floor results" are, and i need to make a list of them for the 5 phase plan. thursday meeting with the evangenitals was also rad. we have a map and some dates, and plenty of things to do. pics and video coming soon. time to sleep a little before everything on the horizon gets restless.
