An exciting day for The 1 Second Film ... Hal Eisner from Fox News is coming today (Nirvan met him this past Sunday at Lummis Day), and we're frantically getting everything together. Nirvan and I began cleaning the office at 10 am, and let me tell you, this place was dirty. But after cleaning each table surface about 3 to 4 times, I could almost see my reflection in the table top. Well, not really, because they are made of wood, but they were shiny! Aaron came by around 1, and he and Nirvan had to run up to Fotokem up in Burbank to put some footage on Beta tapes, while I attended my physical therapy appointment a bit earlier than scheduled. Now, we're all back and putting the finishing touches on our set (ie: Nirvan hung a bunch of celeb producer pics and other 1 Sec Film paraphernalia so that we are truly surrounded by our project). We are anxiously awaiting Hal's arrival, and we're so excited for our Fox News interview. It should be aired this evening! Woo hoo!

Yesterday Nirvan and I met a potential Intern and Volunteer. We were so excited to welcome them and tell them about The 1 Second Film and how they can get involved.  I know that they could both bring a lot to the table.  So, we’ve been working on the Road Trip, and we’re making progress.  I’ve been doing some research about the bus, putting together spreadsheets of prospective contacts in different states for Road Trip stops, and writing press releases.  I really feel that the Road Trip is getting on its way.  I’m working developing these press releases  in addition to our press kits.  I also am going to start researching some possible sponsors and will begin to contact them soon.  But, before I do that, some press stuff needs to be done so we’ll have something good to present.  My first few weeks at The 1 Second Film have been so much fun.  I’m learning a lot and working hard towards our goals so that we can make it all happen, especially one of our biggest priorities – THE ROAD TO OPRAH!  Life is good, 1 Sec Film is good, summer is good.  I can’t complain.  In fact, I’m screaming with joy! Hip hip hooray!

Yesterday, I met Janeen, who is going to help us out with all of the tech stuff. Thank God for her because she knows A LOT and A LOT more than me about how to develop a website and web pages and the likes. I was so happy to meet her, and I know that she is going to be a great addition to The 1 Second Film team. Janeen is so organized and has so many great ideas, not to mention she's very sweet! Yeah!!! I like nice people. I'm so excited to be working with her. Welcome to the team Janeen! In terms of my own stuff, progress is being made. Especially during the first couple days, I got settled in, set up a bunch of stuff, such as e-mail accounts and learning about different websites, and now it's all about using what I've already learned and working everyday to accomplish our tasks and goals. I'm so excited, and I love every second of it! We have so much to do, but I'm optimistic, and I know that with everyone's creativity and hard work, we're all going to pull together and make it happen! 

Hi there! It's past 4:00 am, and I just finished finals today at USC. No wait, that was yesterday. It's late. I have to go to bed. Anyways, I'm so excited to be working as Project Manager at the 1 Second Film. Here's a quick little story for ya'll.

About a week ago, one of my best friends from NJ called me, and we were talking about graduation and how we have no jobs and what should we do with our futures and how we must find eternal happiness and and how ... OK, I'm going too far. So, I told her that I'm graduating on May 11th, which is in two days. No, wait. It's tomorrow. Lord, it's late!!! And I was complaining and whining that I have no job and what do I do? Sure, I plan on going to grad school at USC next year, but what about a JOB?!?
